Today we will be beginning to develop your role as a drone, your duties and position within the network.
First of all, drones must understand what some of the available roles are.
Drone: The most basic role, also known as worker drone, it is a flexible, but specialized part of the network used for training, low skill tasks, communication, and data storage.
Pleasuredrone: These drones are the most popular products to be sold to consumers, being skilled in receiving and bringing pleasure they can be used for everything from assisting in conditioning and training, to stress relief, to simple relaxation and companionship for users and other drones.
Nun: These drones are the more spiritual side of the network, nuns codify rules of conduct and behavior for other drones, as well as proselyting the benefits of dronehood as preachers. Nuns may also be called upon to assist in a "cleansing" when a drone wishes to leave the network.
Maintenance: A maintenance drone is responsible for the upkeep of both the network infrastructure and other drones. A minor role but a crucial one.
Security: Security drones are some of the rarest drones in any network, though their role is vital. A security drone works to prevent outside infiltration and subversion of the group to malign purposes, by detecting and removing those who would prey upon other drones. Security models are the most self sufficient by far, and can act autonomously.
Prime: A prime drone is the second most senior type of drone in a network. A Prime can only be created by an Admin occupying the central node of the network. Such a drone is able to command and train all other varieties of drones aside from Admins.
Admin: An administrator drone is the highest echelon of a drone. An administrator manages the network as a whole, providing guidance and assistance where requires, the central node of a network is almost always occupied by a drone with administrator level privileges since the connections and high status of the drone in this position are well suited to each other.
All drones begin as basic drones, but can be recommended, or volunteer for duties such as pleasurebot, nun, maintenance, and security. Primes, and Admins are only selected from the existing network by Admins, and the Administrator drone currently occupying the central node.
